My Story

Hi, I’m Sky, the maker behind Branded Sky Co.

My journey in the leather industry started years before this brand ever existed. Before launching my own company, I spent years immersed in the western and leather world, building relationships with customers through live sales, styling pieces, and helping women find bags that made them feel confident and uniquely themselves. What started as a job quickly became something much deeper to me.

One of the things I loved most about the industry was the connection behind it. The conversations, the familiar faces returning to every launch, the stories customers would share, and the excitement of helping someone find a piece they truly loved. It never felt like just selling bags. It felt personal and creative in a way that is hard to explain unless you have experienced it yourself.

Even after stepping away from the industry for a while, I missed it constantly. I missed the smell of leather filling a workspace, the uniqueness of every hide, the creativity, the people, and the feeling of creating something meaningful. No matter what else I was doing, this industry always felt like home to me.

Eventually I realized I did not just miss the products. I missed the connection and purpose that came with them. Starting Branded Sky Co feels like coming back to a part of myself that had been missing for a long time.

Living on the west coast of Florida has shaped so much of my inspiration and personal style. I have always been drawn to the contrast of western character mixed with a laid back coastal lifestyle. My designs are inspired by genuine leather, earthy textures, vintage influence, salty air, old soul pieces, and the beauty found in things that are naturally imperfect.

Every bag is handcrafted by me in small batches using genuine leather and one of a kind cowhide hides, meaning no two pieces will ever be exactly alike. I love that every hide carries its own markings, texture, and story. That is what makes each piece feel special and personal.

More than anything, I wanted to create a brand that feels authentic. A brand centered around craftsmanship, individuality, and pieces that are meant to be carried and loved for years to come.
